The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Rehabilitation Therapies is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN)* to provide excellent patient care in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic. 

Selective candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.  Current UI employees are not eligible.

Our pulmonary rehabilitation program is seeking a staff member experienced with the pulmonary patient population.

Our program is AACVPR certified and was named the IACPR Distinguished Program of the Year in 2024. The program is continuously growing and expanding. Our staff members are a cohesive group and are knowledgeable and up to date in all current pulmonary rehab areas including billing, coding, treatment plan documentation and exercise prescriptions. We promote a positive and inclusive environment. We individualize the program based on patient’s unique needs, abilities, and goals to achieve the best outcomes. Our program is unique working closely with Iowa’s only Lung Transplant Program, the specialized Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic, and the Post COVID-19 Clinic.

Percent of Time: 80% Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 - 16:30. Can be fixed or varied days throughout the week. No weekends, no call, and no holidays
